CALL FOR ARTISTS!!

It's that time of year again, I am looking for talented artists!


I am the Visual Arts Editor for The Broome Review, a published literary Journal sold in Barnes & Noble, Waldenbooks and other fine bookstores all over the country. Each year they put out the call for artists in various literary journals and writers magazines, and each year I am horrified by what writers think is great art. so I turn to you, my DA friends, to fill the gap and pick up the slack!

WHAT I WANT: Jpegs of artwork in any media no larger than 800x800 pixels at 72 DPI, suitable for internet viewing. I will be judging your work based on creativity, professionalism, and aesthetics. This is an all-ages venue so please no blatant nudity, or graphically violent or sexual images. Use your head. Deadline is December 28 2009.

WHAT YOU GET: You get your artwork hosted on www.thebroomereview.com for one year with links to your website or DA gallery and your contact information, AND one lucky artist will be selected to be published on the cover of the printed journal, and recieve a free copy of the finished journal (to be printed in the spring of 2010) as well as all the free interwebs publicity.
